Gentlemen, We Have a Winner

Wow. Being a fan of Rangarok ONLINE, I MUST say that this short kicks some serious arse. I've always been annoyed that Porings, Poporings, Drops, and the sort, have always been able to slip by, grab your newly-aquired gear, and slink off, if you're busy beating high-level enemies. This movie just plain rocks.

Kitty!

You know. . . It's movies like this that cause psyciatric wards to fill up over the holidays. Congratulations.

This movie is superb, in my opinion. Even better than the first, in fact! Considerably! The little bonus stuff in the movie didn't really add much, but there's already so much TO this movie! It's comedic gold. From the intro, to the end, this movie is pure genius. . . .or. . .pure sewerage. I can't decide. Either way, I'm hooked.

Also. It's good to see anthropomorphic animals -- really well-drawn ones, no less -- in Flash movies for once. Even better, the fact that the creator's(I'm assuming the cat is the author, or one of them) ears and tail act realistically. Just thought I'd mention that.

Captain N. . . Reborn

*grins* MetalMaverick, my friend. . . Just as I'd original thought back when I reviewed your trailer/intro scene a while back. With any luck, I also gave you some new reading material with that Captain SNES stuff, and perhaps Jay Dee himself helped out a little?
More to the point, now. . . I really liked this episode. It starts out considerably better than the original Captain N did, in my opinion.(Captain N's introduction was a little rushed. . .) As usual, your unique drawing style shines with excellence and every scene was executed with perfect results. I like the music, personally, and I think the pieces fit quite well for the intro, mid-scene transition, and credits. There wasn't really much violence in this one, but there's much more to a Flash movie than cracking skulls anyway. Additionally, I found humour in light doses throughout the movie.

I can honestly say, without a single doubt, that this episode of Gamer Elite was well worth waiting for. Please do continue to keep up the awesome work.

You Forgot Razzamatazz!

This. . .is the coolest sprite movie. . .every created. It's just crazy enough to work!

The sprites are all original(the "Jen" sprites only to a certain degree) and they work well for the movie. They were fairly well animated, as well.(Especially the Jen-Ivo sprites.)
The sound was absolutely hysterical. . . Nuts, man. Nuts. XD

Overall, I'd have to say that you certainly have style, when it comes to making things that tickle the funny bone, and bone the funny tickle, bro. . . .wait, that sounded terrible.

Very Interesting. . .

You, my dear, are tremendously warped.

Anyways. . . This movie is rather lacking, in my opinion, but amusing none the less.

Captain N's Newest Predecessor

This. . .is going to freaking ROCK. . . Metal Maverick? Are you aware of the comic series, Captain SNES by Jay Davis?(http://captainsnes.keen space.com/) I think you two ought'a put yer heads together and at least talk. I'm seriously torn between this, and Jay's comic series. If this trailer/title sequence is anything like the Gamer Elite series is going to be, you can count me in as a supreme fan, man!

MetalMaverick responds:

I have gone through some sites online to get some further research on the old series, but can't say I stumbled upon that. I'll have to take a look. Thanks buddy.

Cheese Taco

Cheesy movie. . .but it had its moments. And frankly, I have little right to judge the quality of this movie, considering how long it must have taken you to make it, and considering I still couldn't Flash my way out of an aluminum frying pan.(Flash in the pan. Get it? Okay, that was bad. ^-^;;)

The edited sprites weren't half bad, for starters. Sprite editing is a fine skill which anyone can do, but doing it acceptable WELL. . .takes skill. You, Holly-Beth, have skill. Heh.
While everyone was lip-synching, though, I almost expected someone to start singing along with the theme from Spongebob Squarepants(Which would have been tremendously funny, to me, at least. XD). The text was a little quick to read, in all honesty, though.
The quality of the sound was quite nice. I could understand all but Dot's Song("I'm Cute") without turning up the volume.
Since there was no violence in the movie, I gave it a zero. Zero score, to me, doesn't mean a failure. It means "there was none of this."
I gave a one for the interactivity because, well. . . SOMEONE has to click that button to start the movie. Right? ^-~
The humour in this movie was well executed. I found myself laughing quite a bit, particularly during the aforementioned lip-synching part.

Overall, this movie is a good movie, but could be better, as with a lot of early Flash movies. On the bright side, at least it wasn't another gawdamned Stick Flick.(And I don't mean Xaio Xaio, either.) ^-^

Nothing Too New or Interesting. . .

As I said above, nothing too new or interesting. However, it's not bad at all, for a first-time submission. It seems to scream Xiao Xiao, plus the Matrix, plus any number of random Japanese or Chinese action films, with the storyline provided, but the fight scenes are still kind of fun to watch. Honestly, though. . .for some reason. . .I sort of figured the main character might go Super Saiyan, or something, at the end there, and blow everyone up. Thankfully, he didn't.

So. . .all and all, good job.

"Space Bunnies Must Die!"

Very interesting. . . If I had more of a life and didn't spend a great deal of time watching cartoons, I wouldn't've expected that ending. Good job.

Crazy, Lazy, Flabby Cabbie

This movie is pretty spiffy. I don't listen to the Howard Stern Radio Show anymore, nor do I particularly remember this guy, but this little music video you made is pretty sweet. Do continue to keep up the good Flash-ing, J.

I dunno what to tell you about myself.
I like music and video games, and I've been for years.

Also, I like Roll. (:
